Some positive developments emerged from Santa Clara on Friday as the San Francisco 49ers conducted their second practice of the week in preparation for Monday night's highly anticipated matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave returned to practice after dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined in this past weekend's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Additionally, running back Elijah Mitchell, who had been inactive for the last two games due to a knee injury, was back on the practice field.

Still missing is Hargrave's partner along the interior of that 49ers defensive front, Arik Armstead. The longtime Niner has been working towards a comeback from foot and knee injuries that forced him to miss the team's last two games.

The 49ers will release their practice participation report later this afternoon. They have one more practice session scheduled for Saturday afternoon in the lead-up to Monday night's game.
