San Francisco is coming off a 27-10 victory over the Washington Commanders. QB Brock Purdy set the 49ers' single-season passing yards record as he completed 22 of his 28 passing attempts for 230 yards and two touchdowns with a passer rating of 124.7. His 230 yards gave him 4,280 on the season. WR Brandon Aiyuk led all receivers with 114 yards on seven catches, including a 17-yard touchdown reception, while WR Deebo Samuel added five catches for 37 yards and a two-yard touchdown reception. RB Elijah Mitchell led all rushers with 17 carries for 80 yards and a two-yard touchdown run.

The 49ers defense held the Commanders to 225 total yards of offense and forced two takeaways on the day. CB Charvarius Ward registered four tackles and intercepted Commanders QB Sam Howell once. CB Deommodore Lenoir also intercepted Howell and added three tackles. DL Clelin Ferrell registered the 49ers lone sack of Howell on the day, while LB Dre Greenlaw led the unit with 10 tackles.
