Notes
Wide receiver Jauan Jennings and tackle Jaylon Moore continue to work their way through the concussion protocol, taking part in the final practice of the week. Matt Barrows of The Athletic noted that both "appear to either be out, or close to being out, of the concussion protocol."
Wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud also practiced. The 49ers opened his practice window this week, hoping to get their top special teams returner back in time for the postseason.
Safeties Ji'Ayir Brown and Tashaun Gipson did not practice but were seen working on a side field.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed that cornerback Jason Verrett will undergo surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, ending his season.
