Also returning to practice are defensive backs Ambry Thomas, Ji'Ayir Brown, and Tashaun Gipson.
The 49ers look poised to get defensive tackle Arik Armstead back in time for their first playoff game. He practiced last week and continues to do so this week, albeit as a limited participant. Armstead has yet to appear in a game since December 3.
Safety George Odum, who remains on the injured reserve list, is attempting to return from a torn biceps and was also a limited participant.
Sitting out practice were defensive end Clelin Ferrell, linebacker Dre Greenlaw, and safety Logan Ryan. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan is hopeful that Greenlaw and Ryan should be able to practice on Wednesday, while Ferrell is not expected to play against the Packers.
Below are Tuesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Packers, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. It's worth noting that Green Bay's report is an estimated rundown since the Packers did not practice on Tuesday.
