The San Francisco 49ers have announced roster moves ahead of the NFC Championship matchup with the Detroit Lions. The team has promoted two players, WR Willie Snead IV & LB Curtis Robinson from the practice squad to the active roster. Both are standard elevations.

For Snead, this will be the fifth time he's been elevated this season. He has two catches for 14 yards in 2023. Snead may not be active for the game, however, simply because the 49ers have a healthy group of wide receivers ahead of him.

Robinson is being elevated for the fourth time this season. In his previous three games, he has recorded a tackle in each game. If Robinson plays in Sunday's game, it will be on special teams.

In addition, Kalia Davis, who the team recently opened the practice window, has been ruled out for Sunday's game. Davis has only played in three games with the 49ers this season, recording a sack against the Philadelphia Eagles. A knee injury forced Davis to miss his rookie season. This year, the 49ers and Davis had hoped he would bounce back and make an impact for the team, particularly in the run game, but that never happened, due mostly to injuries.

The 49ers have listed LB Oren Burks as questionable. The team could use Burks, as the Lions have a dynamic rushing attack. Burks has 29 tackles and one sack in 15 games with the 49ers this season.

The Lions announced that they have elevated FB Jason Cabinda and OL Michael Schofield from the practice squad to their 53-man roster. Although they recently signed TE Zach Ertz, they did not elevate him.
