Tight end George Kittle and defensive tackle Arik Armstead missed their second consecutive practice. Kittle is grappling with a toe injury, while Armstead continues to be troubled by foot and knee issues.
Addressing reporters on Thursday, head coach Kyle Shanahan didn't sound overly concerned about Kittle's setback but chose not to disclose specific details about the injury.
Tackle Trent Williams, who had a rest day on Thursday, returned to the practice field.
