Before that, Aiyuk was asked about his future. There has been some speculation based on social media posts by those within the receiver's inner circle that Aiyuk may not want to remain with the 49ers in 2024.
Aiyuk is signed through the upcoming season. The 49ers exercised his fifth-year option for the player but will likely seek to negotiate a contract extension this offseason.
When asked if he hopes to remain with San Francisco, Aiyuk responded, "If that's the right move, yeah."
What would that right move look like to the receiver?
"Being a champion," he responded.
