Jon Feliciano is having a great Friday. The offensive lineman is re-signing with the San Francisco 49ers, returning to the team for a second season. He also received some bonus happy news: he won't have to block Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald anymore.

Donald announced his retirement on Friday. His next NFL stop will be in Canton as a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

What was Feliciano's reaction to his new deal and not having to go against Donald anymore? The offensive lineman wrote, "Best day ever!!"

Donald is an eight-time first-team All-Pro and has earned Pro Bowl honors in each of his 10 NFL seasons. The defensive lineman has three NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards and a Super Bowl championship on his impressive resume.

Ahead of the 49ers' Week 2 matchup against the Rams last season, when asked about the biggest challenge of facing the Rams defense in recent years, head coach Kyle Shanahan responded, "Aaron Donald being on it would be the number one thing."

Donald has earned double-digit sacks in six of his NFL seasons, with an impressive league-leading 20.5 in 2018.
