Former UCF wide receiver Javon Baker disclosed to reporters at the Big 12 Pro Day in Frisco, Texas, that he has a pre-draft visit scheduled with the San Francisco 49ers. Baker is among 17 UCF players participating in the event.

Baker accumulated 52 receptions for a career-high 1,139 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games as a senior in 2023, per Sports Reference. Over two seasons with the Knights, he recorded 108 receptions for 1,935 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Since head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch took charge of building the roster, the 49ers have selected at least one wide receiver in six of the seven drafts.

In his NFL.com scouting report on Baker, Lance Zierlein wrote, "Former Alabama signee with good size and skill level who finally saw his production spike once he transferred to UCF. Baker looks the part, and his tape will keep growing on you the longer it runs. His play was very natural and instinctive in 2023; he made quality plays on the ball in game after game. He uses speed changes and route leverage to create separation, and he's at his best working the second and third levels from either inside or outside."

At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6' 1 1/4" and 202-pound Baker posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.54 seconds, a vertical jump of 37 inches, and a broad jump of 10 feet, 1 inch.
