Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz reports that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing former San Francisco 49ers pass rusher Randy Gregory, an unrestricted free agent.

The Dallas Cowboys made Gregory (6-5, 242) a second-round selection (No. 60 overall) out of Nebraska in 2015. He registered 20 tackles, six tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks, and a pass defensed through 16 game appearances with the 49ers and Denver Broncos this past season, per Pro Football Reference.

San Francisco acquired Gregory via a mid-season trade with the Broncos in October of 2023. He played 272 defensive snaps during his short tenure with the 49ers. The team has since signed defensive ends Leonard Floyd and Yetur Gross-Matos in free agency, allowing Gregory and Chase Young to hit the open market.

Gregory, 31, has recorded 117 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, 69 quarterback hits, 22 sacks, three passes defensed, an interception, and 10 forced fumbles in 72 game appearances (18 starts) throughout his NFL career.
