The San Francisco 49ers are hosting several draft prospects this week as the deadline for pre-draft visits draws near. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the team will host former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley on Wednesday.

Corley is expected to be a Day 2 pick. San Francisco owns two selections on Day 2—the No. 63 overall pick in the second round and the No. 94 overall pick in the third round. Currently, the receiver is visiting with the Seattle Seahawks.

Corley's best season was in 2022, when he caught 101 passes for 1,295 yards with 11 touchdowns, adding 11 carries for 87 rushing yards, per Sports Reference. Throughout his four collegiate seasons with the Hilltoppers, he caught 259 passes for 3,035 yards with 29 touchdowns.

In 12 games last season, Corley registered 79 receptions for 984 yards and 11 touchdowns. He didn't participate in on-field drills during the NFL Scouting Combine.

Interestingly, NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein compares Corley to a 49ers receiver—Deebo Samuel.

"Like Brandon Aiyuk or Deebo Samuel when they were prospects, Corley has had a heavy percentage of his targets schemed around him and he will need to prove he can become more than just a quick-game bully or gadget guy," Zierlein wrote.
