ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that the San Francisco 49ers are signing veteran offensive lineman Chris Hubbard. NFL Media's Ian Rapoport adds that it is a one-year, $1.375 million deal.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Hubbard (6-4, 295) as an undrafted free agent out of UAB in 2013. He made nine starts with the Tennessee Titans last season, allowing four sacks and 18 pressures while playing 473 offensive snaps and 292 pass-blocking snaps, per Pro Football Focus.

As noted by Fowler, Hubbard was placed on injured reserve on November 25, 2023, due to a biceps injury. While primarily a right tackle, he also has experience playing guard and even has limited experience at center.

Hubbard, 33, has appeared in 94 games (58 starts) over his NFL career with the Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and Titans.
