Pearsall started training camp on the NFI list due to a hamstring issue. However, he has been regularly seen working with trainers on the side during 49ers practices.
The 49ers selected Pearsall out of Florida with the No. 31 overall pick in April's draft. In 2023, he recorded 65 receptions for 965 yards and four touchdowns through 12 games as a senior, per Sports Reference.
Throughout his collegiate career, Pearsall caught 159 passes for 2,420 yards and 14 touchdowns over five combined seasons with Florida and Arizona State.
