Join us this Sunday for the debut of our new series, "From the Stands."

I'll share my recollections of the most unforgettable Niners games I've witnessed in person. I invite you to join me by sharing your captioned photos and favorite memories of past Niner games. Some of those recollections will appear in future articles.

The series begins with the "Don't Stop Believin" game against the Lions in last year's NFC title game and the fumble that led to the most raucous celebration and Levi's at its loudest.

Next, we travel to the hallowed grounds of Lambeau Field for the 2021 divisional playoffs. This was the best bad-weather game I've attended, won off the foot of Robbie Gould.

The third segment discusses how I scored tickets to "The Catch," the most iconic game in 49ers history and the win that launched a San Francisco dynasty.

Reach out to me via email (jjopelt@gmail.com) or a tweet from_the_stands@#49ers. Share your favorite 49ers moment you saw in person, on television, or heard on the radio. I'd love to hear your stories and share them with your fellow 49er fans.

Your experiences are invaluable to us. Tell me about the first Niners game you attended, why it still sticks with you, the most exciting contest you witnessed, and what made it so special.

Remember to leave your name and city of residence and check in because your comments may appear in a future article. We'll be selecting stories and photos that best capture the essence of being a 49ers fan, making this a collective recollection of our shared love for the 49ers. Your comments may be gently edited for brevity, clarity, and grammar.
