The San Francisco 49ers came in to Week 3 for a showdown against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium with a slew of major injuries, particularly at key skill positions on the offensive side of the ball.

Knowing they would be playing without All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey and wideout Deebo Samuel, along with the news of a brutal late scratch of an ailing George Kittle on Saturday afternoon, someone was clearly going to have to step up in a massive way.

Fourth-year wide receiver Jauan Jennings has gone ahead and done just that, hitting the hat trick after hauling in his third touchdown of the afternoon, a beautiful 31-yard strike from Brock Purdy mid-way through the third quarter.

This electric performance kind of feels like the proper time to possibly reconsider limiting this man to simply being to known as "Third-and-Jauan."

Yes, it's a great nickname, But this has been a patently absurd showing thus far, as Jennings has seven catches for 134 yards and three touchdowns with a full quarter left to play.

Here's a look at all three TDs, starting with the latest grab from Purdy.

Jennings really seems to be having the time of his life in the 49ers' home away from home, and it's entirely understandable.
