The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 4 matchup against the New England Patriots. These five players will not suit up for the game.

Inactives:

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel, listed as questionable, is active for today's game against the Patriots after missing last week's contest due to a calf strain. Tackle Trent Williams, who was also questionable because of a sore toe that kept him out of Friday's practice, is also active.

On Friday, the 49ers listed three other players as questionable: defensive tackle Jordan Elliott (foot), safety Talanoa Hufanga (ankle), and linebacker Dee Winters (ankle). Of that group, Hufanga is the only one inactive for today's game.

Hufanga tweaked his ankle during Thursday's practice and missed Friday's session, while defensive tackle Jordan Elliott suffered a foot injury on Thursday but returned to practice on Friday. Winters re-aggravated an ankle injury during Week 3's loss to the Los Angeles Rams but is cleared to play.

On Saturday, the 49ers placed defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (triceps) and linebacker Curtis Robinson (knee) on injured reserve. The team promoted defensive lineman Sam Okuayinonu from the practice squad to fill one of the open roster spots.

Additionally, the 49ers elevated defensive lineman Evan Anderson and safety Jaylen Mahoney from the practice squad, marking both players' first elevations of the season.
