According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, San Francisco 49ers star linebacker Fred Warner and tight end George Kittle, both listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 5 game against the Arizona Cardinals, are expected to suit up for the NFC West showdown.

Warner sustained an ankle injury during the 49ers' Week 4 matchup against the New England Patriots, exiting the game before halftime and not returning. Kittle also suffered an injury in the same game, leaving with a rib issue, but managed to return and finish the contest.

Both players missed Wednesday's and Thursday's practices but participated in Friday's lighter session.

Warner is off to an impressive start in 2024, recording 27 tackles, including one for a loss, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), a sack, four passes defensed, and three forced fumbles through four games.

Meanwhile, Kittle has contributed 15 receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns across his three game appearances.

The 49ers aim to secure their second consecutive win and improve to 3-2 with a victory over the Cardinals on Sunday. After this matchup, they'll face a quick turnaround as they travel to Lumen Field to take on the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.
