Linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles was ruled out due to a calf injury. Wide receiver Chris Conley, listed as doubtful with an oblique injury, did not practice last week and is inactive for Week 5.

On Friday, the 49ers listed tight end George Kittle, linebacker Fred Warner, wide receiver Jacob Cowing, defensive tackle Kalia Davis, and cornerback Isaac Yiadom as questionable. As expected, Kittle, Warner, and Davis are active for today's game. Yiadom is also active.

On Saturday, the team activated Davis from injured reserve. Davis had been recovering from knee surgery in August. In a corresponding move, the 49ers placed defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos on injured reserve due to a lingering knee injury, ruling him out for the next four games—a notable blow to the team's defensive line depth.

Additionally, the 49ers elevated wide receiver Trent Taylor, likely for punt return duties, and defensive tackle T.Y. McGill from the practice squad, making both players available against the Cardinals.
