The San Francisco 49ers are gearing up for their Thursday night matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Just hours before kickoff, the team announced that defensive lineman Evan Anderson and safety Jaylen Mahoney have been temporarily elevated from the practice squad for the game.

Both players will revert to the practice squad following the matchup.

On Wednesday, the 49ers ruled out defensive lineman Jordan Elliott and safety Talanoa Hufanga for the Week 6 contest. Elliott is sidelined with a knee injury, while Hufanga was later placed on injured reserve after tearing wrist ligaments during Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Hufanga is expected to miss at least a month.

Kickoff between the 49ers and Seahawks is set for 5:15 p.m. at Lumen Field. San Francisco currently stands at 2-3, while Seattle holds the top spot in the NFC West with a 3-2 record.
