On Saturday, the San Francisco 49ers announced the following roster moves ahead of Sunday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys:

Amos is in his 10th NFL season. Originally drafted in the fifth round of the 2015 draft, Amos is with his fifth team. He has appeared in 142 games, with 125 starts in his career. Amos has recorded 10 interceptions, one touchdown (90 yards), 49 passes defended, three forced fumbles, and five fumble recoveries. He also has six career sacks and nine QB hits.

The Green Bay Packers originally drafted Carlson in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he appeared in 17 games where he connected on 27 of his 33 field goal attempts (81.8%) and 34 of his 39 extra point attempts (87.2%). Carlson appeared in two postseason contests where he connected on two of his three field goal attempts and seven of his eight extra-point attempts. Last week against Kansas City, Carlson made two field goals, one from 55 yards and one from 24 yards. But he missed a PAT in the third quarter.

Both players are standard elevations, meaning they will revert to the practice squad after the game. The 49ers, 3-4, look to improve to .500 heading into their bye week. Because of tie-breakers, they are currently in last place in the NFC West. The 49ers lost to the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals earlier this season.
