On Friday, the 49ers ruled out defensive tackle Kevin Givens, wide receiver Jauan Jennings, and kicker Jake Moody due to injuries.
Tight end George Kittle, cornerback Deommodore Lenoir, safety George Odum, and wide receiver Deebo Samuel were listed as questionable for the Sunday night NFC showdown. Kittle is dealing with a foot sprain, while Samuel was recently hospitalized with pneumonia. On Saturday night, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that both Kittle and Samuel were expected to play.

This is the second consecutive elevation for Carlson, who kicked last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, stepping in after both Moody and his replacement, Matthew Wright, were injured in consecutive games.
