WR D.K. Metcalf
Metcalf caught three passes on 11 targets for 48 yards on October 10 against the 49ers. Metcalf has one game where he received over 100 yards from the 2020 season. This means that Metcalf, if not defended correctly, will go berserk against the 49ers secondary. Expect Metcalf to be utilized in the slot and mismatched against linebackers in this week's matchup.
WR Jaxson Smith-Njiba
This young wideout is starting to heat up for the Seattle Seahawks. The last time he played against the 49ers, the Seahawks targeted him nine times. Smith-Njiba put up 53 yards on five receptions. Look for Smith-Njiba matched up on 49ers' rookie cornerback, Renardo Green.
RB Kenneth Walker III
Walker is the bellcow of the Seahawks' offense. Look for him to get going in the running and passing games. The Seahawks may be ranked 28th in rushing yards per game, but this doesn't mean Walker should be overlooked. He is tough to bring down on first contact and could cause problems for the 49ers' linebackers in the passing game.
CB Devon Witherspoon
Witherspoon is tied for the most pass breakups on the Seahawks' defense. He is their most physical corner and can play inside and outside. Witherspoon is the Seahawk's version of Deommodore Lenoir. He doesn't have any interceptions on the season, but he plays tight coverage in the secondary.
LB Ernest Jones IV
Jones is the Seahawk's best linebacker on the roster. He likes to play downhill and get into the backfield quickly, fast, and in a hurry. In the overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Jones recorded six tackles, nine total tackles, and a tackle for a loss. He has the speed and the ability to cover. If Jones goes unnoticed, he will get to the backfield and disrupt Brock Purdy's day "All night long."
