The San Francisco 49ers are hosting the Seattle Seahawks at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The Bay Area team entered the matchup shorthanded on offense, missing All-Pro tight end George Kittle due to a hamstring injury.

On defense, the 49ers were also without key contributors. Cornerback Charvarius Ward remains away following the tragic passing of his daughter, while defensive tackle Kevin Givens is sidelined with a groin injury.

Below are the latest in-game injury updates for the 49ers.

LB Tatum Bethune (knee, out)

Tatum Bethune, a key contributor on special teams, suffered a knee injury in the first quarter and is questionable to return.

Update: The 49ers eventually ruled Bethune out.

WR Jacob Cowing (concussion, out)

Rookie Jacob Cowing, another special teams contributor, sustained a head injury late in the first half and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

FB Kyle Juszczyk (head, returned)

Kyle Juszczyk went down in the second half during a play where quarterback Brock Purdy scrambled for a first down, though the effort was negated by a penalty. The fullback managed to walk off the field under his own power and headed to the sideline for evaluation in the medical tent. After being assessed for a concussion, Juszczyk was cleared to return to the game.

DE Nick Bosa (hip, questionable)

Nick Bosa continues to be affected by the hip injury he sustained before last week's game. The defensive end exited in the third quarter and is listed as questionable to return.
