The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of offensive lineman Sebastian Gutierrez to the practice squad. To make room on the practice squad, the team released offensive lineman Cameron Erving.

The 49ers Communications staff provided the following rundown.



Gutierrez (6-6, 310) originally entered the NFL after signing with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. Throughout his three-year NFL career, he has spent time on the practice squads with the New England Patriots (2022), Las Vegas Raiders (2022-23), Kansas City Chiefs (2023), 49ers (2024), Cleveland Browns (2024) and Indianapolis Colts (2024) and has appeared in one game with the Raiders. In 2024, Gutierrez spent time on the 49ers, Browns, and Colts practice squads prior to being released from Indianapolis' practice squad on November 25.

A 26-year-old native of Pasco, WA, Gutierrez attended Minot State University (2016-20), where he appeared in 40 games.


Erving (6-5, 313) originally signed to the team's practice squad on November 27, 2024.
