According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, San Francisco 49ers rookie running back Isaac Guerendo is expected to suit up for Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Rams at Levi's Stadium.

"49ers rookie RB Isaac Guerendo plans to play Thursday night vs. the Rams despite his sprained foot that has left him being listed as questionable, per sources," Schefter reported on social media. "Guerendo insists he 'feels good.'"

Guerendo sustained a foot sprain during Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. While he missed the 49ers' lone full practice on Tuesday, he participated in a limited capacity during Wednesday's walk-through session.

"He's planning to play tonight," Schefter elaborated on ESPN's Get Up. "He feels good. Now, who knows how long he's going to hold up? It's an answer I tried to get yesterday. I tried to get assurances he's going to play all four quarters.

"He's playing. He's going to be out there tonight despite the fact that he's listed as being questionable. And we'll see how he performs. He feels good. ... The test (on his foot) came back negative, and he is planning on playing tonight."

This matchup is critical for both teams, as they vie for position in the NFC West standings. The 49ers view this game as a must-win contest, as another loss could end their slim postseason hopes.
