The Tennessee Titans are adding depth to their quarterback room. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that the Titans are signing former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brandon Allen to a one-year deal.


Allen (6-2, 209) entered the NFL as the Jacksonville Jaguars' sixth-round pick (No. 201 overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft after a successful collegiate career at Arkansas. He finished his college career with 7,463 passing yards, 64 touchdowns, and 26 interceptions.

In 2024, Allen played in three games (one start) for the San Francisco 49ers, completing 17 of 30 passes (56.7 percent) for 199 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions while adding four rushing yards on three carries, per Pro Football Reference.

Allen, 32, has played in 18 career games (10 starts) over five NFL seasons with the Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, and 49ers. Allen has completed 56.7 percent of his passes for 1,810 yards, 11 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. He has also added 68 rushing yards on 36 carries.
