San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch attended Stanford's Pro Day on Wednesday, accompanied by wide receivers coach Leonard Hankerson. According to Brad Graham of TheSFNiners, the two showed significant interest in wide receiver Elic Ayomanor. Lynch was seen chatting with Ayomanor during the workouts and even requested to see a specific route from the receiver, with Hankerson providing direction.

Ayomanor told Graham that he met with the 49ers on Tuesday and plans to attend the team's local Pro Day next month.

While Ayomanor didn't run the 40-yard dash at Stanford's Pro Day, he clocked a 4.44-second time at the NFL Scouting Combine last month. He also posted a 38.5-inch vertical jump and a broad jump of 10 feet, 7 inches in Indianapolis.

According to Sports Reference, Ayomanor (6-2, 206) recorded 63 receptions for 831 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games as a junior in 2024, earning second-team All-ACC honors. He had a stronger statistical season in 2023, hauling in 62 passes for 1,013 yards and six touchdowns.

Most expect the 49ers to target wide receiver help in the draft after trading Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders and with Brandon Aiyuk recovering from ACL and MCL injuries.
