Additionally, the 49ers lost tackle Jaylon Moore, linebacker Dre Greenlaw, and quarterback Joshua Dobbs. However, OverTheCap.com anticipates that the signings of quarterback Mac Jones, tight end Luke Farrell, and wide receiver Demarcus Robinson will offset those departures.

Several members of the 49ers' 2024 draft class made immediate impacts. Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall played 455 snaps, cornerback Renardo Green logged 675 snaps, guard Dominick Puni played every offensive snap (1,078), safety Malik Mustapha contributed 756 snaps, and running back Isaac Guerendo played 227 snaps.
These five players were the team's first five selections in 2024. The 49ers' receiving similar contributions from their 2025 draft class, along with a last-place schedule, could help them bounce back from their 6-11 season.
