Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 reports that the San Francisco 49ers met with Oregon linebacker Jestin Jacobs on Sunday for a pre-draft meeting. This meeting was separate from Oregon's Pro Day, which took place on March 18.

According to Wilson, Jacobs put together an impressive Pro Day performance, recording a 4.6-second 40-yard dash, a 36.5-inch vertical jump, and 17 bench press reps.

"Iowa [Hawkeye] transfer widely considered early Day 3 prospect when he joined Ducks after impressive coverage work alongside Jack Campbell," Wilson wrote.

Jacobs (6-4, 230) transferred from Iowa to Oregon in 2023 and spent his final two seasons with the Ducks. Over 21 games there, he amassed 61 tackles (five for a loss), 2.5 sacks, one interception, and one pass defensed.

Injuries limited Jacobs' time at Oregon, but he made a significant impact when healthy. He posted outstanding tackling grades from Pro Football Focus, earning a 90.2 grade in 2023 and a 90.3 in 2024. The analytics site credited him with zero missed tackles over the past two seasons.
