While he has not officially announced anything, all signs are pointing to 49ers wide receiver Isaac Bruce having played his final NFL game.

As if his changing out of his uniform and into sweatpants at the half of the 49ers' 28-6 win against his former team, the St. Louis Rams, two players seem certain that Bruce will retire. On their Twitter pages, cornerback Nate Clements gives a "shout out" to Bruce saying that he has retired. Linebacker Takeo Spikes also indicates the same thing saying "it has been a pleasure to play against & with him."

Bruce has played the last two seasons with San Francisco but his playing time this season was minimal as he gave way to the younger developing receivers on the team.
