The San Francisco 49ers kick off their preparation for the 2010 season with their first practice of training camp today.

Rookies, all of which have now been signed, reported on Friday and the veterans reported yesterday.

As stated by numerous sources, 49ers nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin did not report with the veterans on Saturday. Franklin has yet to sign his $7 million one-year, franchise-tag contract. He cannot report to camp until his contract is signed.

The team's second practice on Monday will be open to the public. Fans will have an opportunity to watch the players for about two hours. Gates open to the fans at 4pm at the team's headquarters.
