The San Francisco 49ers got within a game of the NFC West lead with their 27-6 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The win is the team's fourth in their last six games.

A hip injury to running back Frank Gore opened the door for Brian Westbrook's 136 yard, one touchdown performance.

Quarterback Troy Smith was 11 of 23 for 129 yards, one touchdown and an interception.

On Sunday, the 49ers will face a tough test in Green Bay as they take on the Packers at Lambeau Field.


Elsewhere in the division, the Seahawks will face the Panthers at in Seattle and the Cardinals and Rams will battle each other in Arizona.
