With the San Francisco 49ers' loss on Sunday in the NFC Championship game, the team now knows their first round position in the 2012 NFL Draft. The 49ers will be selecting 30th come April.

The final two spots in the first round will belong to the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. Their positions will be determined by the result of Super Bowl XLVI.

The 2012 NFL Draft will be the 77th annual selection process allowing NFL franchises to acquire eligible college football players.

The first round of the 2012 NFL Draft will begin on Thursday, April 26. The second and third rounds will take place on Friday, April 27. Rounds four through seven will take place on Saturday, April 28.
