According to Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter), the San Francisco 49ers are one of three teams that are having early conversations with New York Giants free-agent wide receiver Mario Manningham. The others are the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.

Manningham, who is 25, has spent his career with the New York Giants. Over four seasons, he has 160 catches for 2,315 yards and 18 touchdowns. His best season was in 2010 when he had 60 catches for 944 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Manningham was drafted in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft out of Michigan and was a big part of February's New York Giants Super Bowl victory.
