49ers sign Brandon Moore to 5-year deal
According to ESPN, the San Francisco 49ers have re-signed linebacker Brandon Moore to a 5-year, $8 million deal.
From ESPN:
Coach Mike Nolan knew it was going to be tough to lose linebacker Julian Peterson in free agency, but he felt good about the remaining group of linebackers, including rapidly developing Brandon Moore.
Moore can play inside or outside as a versatile linebacker. The 49ers still have hopes of getting Peterson back if he doesn't find a market. He's asking for big signing-bonus money, but he has yet to make a visit since the start of free agency.
