Woods trade cap hit may only be $111,000

While many sources have reported that the cap hit to the 49ers for trading wide receiver Rashaun Woods to San Diego was about $2.5 million, other sources say otherwise. John Clayton, a typically reliable source, said on Wednesday that the cap hit to the 49ers would only be $111,000 even though Woods is entering only his third season.

Yesterday, Scout.com also confirmed that the cap hit would be a little over $100,000.
