According to 49ers.com, the San Francisco 49ers started their final week of OTA's today. Back on the field for the first time was safety Tony Parrish. Parrish broke his leg against his former team, the Chicago Bears, last season.

“Tony was able to take some reps today,” said Nolan. “He took the first series with the first group and he did practice some. I didn’t really study it but I saw him a few times and he looked alright.”

Wide receiver P.J. Fleck was waived. While he made the 49ers roster in 2005, a shoulder injury made him miss the entire season. P.J. Fleck was admired by the coaching staff and the fans for his work ethic and ability to get to the ball. Nolan stated that he would like to see Fleck return to the team in the future…possibly as a member of the coaching staff.
