Free agency signings begin tomorrow at 1 PM Pacific. According to ESPN's Andrew Brandt, the New York Giants have placed a 1st round tender on restricted free agent wide receiver Victor Cruz, worth approximately $2.9 million.

The San Francisco 49ers own a very low first round selection with the 31st overall pick and the wide receiver position is something that the 49ers are looking to improve via free agency or the NFL Draft. The addition of Cruz would certainly do that. Although, it is unknown if the 49ers would be willing to surrender a first round selection for the dynamic receiver.

Over the past two seasons, Cruz has had 168 catches for 2,628 yards and 19 touchdowns. Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Giants in 2010, he is only 26 years old.

On Monday, the Seahawks agreed on a trade that would send wide receiver Percy Harvin from the Minnesota Vikings to Seattle.
