Bill Williamson of the Denver Post is reporting that the Denver Broncos are still working hard to trade receiver Ashley Lelie. They want to accomplish this before the start of training camp.

The Broncos are looking to get help at running back and tight end. Draft-pick compensation could be part of the deal. Lelie's agent, Peter Schaffer, said there are seven teams interested in Lelie. The biggest obstacle in the deal is that Lelie will be an unrestricted free agent in March.

The 49ers made a push for Lelie prior to the NFL Draft. However, they felt that the Bronco's asking price was far too high for the receiver.
