It's official. Per Adam Shefter, former San Francisco 49ers safety Donte Whitner has agreed to terms with the Cleveland Browns.
This was expected and the 4-year deal is worth up to $28 million. That will pay Whitner up to $7 million a year. Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area stated that the 49ers did not want to go over about $4 million a year.
