According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Miami Dolphins have expressed interest in San Francisco 49ers free agent cornerback Tarell Brown, among others. It is unknown how strong that interest is.

Brown was drafted in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the 49ers and has had 240 tackles, 11 interceptions, and a touchdown during his seven seasons with the team.

Brown has not been attracting as much attention from other NFL teams as anticipated. He is the fifth best cornerback still available according to Rotoworld, behind Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Walter Thurmond III, Charles Tillman, and Antonio Cromartie.
