Following tonight's 42-17 loss to the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh stated that center Daniel Kilgore's injury is likely a fractured lower leg.

During the second half of the game, he had his leg rolled on from behind during and was fitted with an aircast before being carted off the field. He was replaced by rookie Dillon Farrell.

The injury could force third-round pick Marcus Martin into the lineup to take Kilgore's place.

Kilgore was drafted by the 49ers in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Appalachian State. He had signed a three-year contract extension in February.
