It was revealed today that McDonald is being investigated for possible sexual assault. Based on the allegations, police obtained a search warrant anew searched his home on Tuesday.
Last month, McDonald was cleared of domestic abuse charges involving his pregnant fiancée. That incident took place in August and created backlash from the media and multiple rights groups who believed that McDonald should not have been playing while the investigation was taking place.
