Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that San Francisco head coach Jim Harbaugh has narrowed his post-49ers coaching options to two choices. It will be between the University of Michigan and the Oakland Raiders.

Schefter believes that Harbaugh is leaning heavily toward the University of Michigan to replace Brady Hoke in Ann Arbor.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported Sunday that Harbaugh and the 49ers would part ways within 24 to 48 hours of the team's final game against the Arizona Cardinals. That game will be on Sunday, December 28th.

There had been rumors that the New York Jets, and perhaps even the Chicago Bears, might show some interest in Harbaugh.

Harbaugh has been the head coach of the 49ers since 2011. He led the team to three straight NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl in his first three seasons with San Francisco.
