According to authorities, Miller was charged with a domestic-violence misdemeanor stemming from a March 5 argument with his ex-fiancée. Miller had pleaded not guilty to one count of misdemeanor vandalism and remained free on $10,000 bail.
A judge had issued a no-contact protective order between Miller and his ex-fiancée. Miller was also ordered by the court to attend a 16-week course in domestic-violence counseling.
Miller has not been participating in the team's optional offseason activities with general manager Trent Baalke stating, "We sat down with Bruce and feel it's very important for him to handle this situation and once it's handled, we'll move on from there."
Regarding this latest turn of events, Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports that Baalke had this to say...
"Bruce knows what we expect of him as a member of this team and he has committed to taking the necessary steps to grow from this experience."
