Defensive lineman Darnell Dockett, an offseason free agent acquisition, had the following to say on Twitter.
This 49ers offseason has been a rough one, which included the retirement of offensive tackle Anthony Davis and the trade of the longest tenured Niner, punter Andy Lee, in the past few days. The trade leaves 5th round selection and rookie Bradley Pinion to take over punting duties.
Of course, all of this is after an offseason filled with a massive coaching overhaul and the retirements of linebackers Patrick Willis and Chris Borland as well as the retirement of defensive lineman Justin Smith.
Much of this has left some to question just how much team management's decisions have impacted player decisions.
Still, the general feeling among the 49ers appears to still be positive. ESPN's Louis Riddick had the following to share.
