The San Francisco 49ers beat the San Diego Chargers 14-12 in their exhibition finale on Thursday night at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

Neither Colin Kaepernick nor Blaine Gabbert played in this one, with QB Dylan Thompson starting and finishing the game. Thompson finished the night 17 of 22 for 225 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. RB Jarryd Hayne led the team in rushing with 58 yards on 10 carries while WR Bruce Ellington led the team in receiving with 86 yards on three receptions and a touchdown, likely securing his claim to the team's third wide receiver spot.

Ellington's touchdown came on the third play of the game when he hauled in a Thompson pass and headed 70 yards down the field for the score.

And for those that want to see that tough hit by Jarryd Hayne as he finished a run in the third quarter, here you go. Game recap links are after the break.

Here are the recaps from numerous 49ers beat writers and other sources. More will be added to the list as they come in.
