Mac Engel, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports the Dallas Cowboys interviewed San Francisco 49ers assistant head coach Mike Singletary for their head coaching vacancy Tuesday, Jan. 30. Singletary believes he's ready to become a head coach after only four seasons as an assistant coach in the league. "Coming back into the game, I've accelerated my learning in terms of things that you have to do in terms of being a head coach," Singletary said. "As I look around at some of the head coaches in the league, I feel that I'm ready to make that move. I can do that and be successful."
