San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde was tested for a concussion during the team's 43-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He exited the game in the third quarter and appeared frustrated while speaking to head trainer Jeff Ferguson on the sideline before walking to the locker room to be evaluated. The tests were negative and Hyde should be ready to go next week when the 49ers travel to Glendale, Arizona to face the Cardinals for their first division matchup.

Mike Davis has replaced Hyde at running back. Because of the lopsided score, running backs coach Tom Rathman made the call to not let Hyde return to the game even after he had been cleared.

Also exiting the game were TE Vance McDonald (knee), TE Blake Bell (back), and WR Torrey Smith.
