Chicago Bears 37, St. Louis Rams 13
Bears TE Zach Miller showed off his speed on an 87-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter. The game was tied after a quarter of play but broke open for the Bears after that. They would score four consecutive times to take a 24-10 halftime lead on their way to a 37-13 rout of the St. Louis Rams.
Rams QB Nick Foles was just 17 of 36 for 200 yards and an interception. Rookie Todd Gurley was held to just 45 yards on 12 carries. Although, he did run into the end zone for the game's first score and contributed 44 yards on three receptions.
Arizona Cardinals 39, Seattle Seahawks 32
There was a scary moment in the second quarter when ex-49ers offensive lineman Mike Iupati, now with the Arizona Cardinals, was taken off the field in an ambulance after a collision with Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor. Arizona later announced that his CT scan and MRI at the hospital both came back normal.
The Cardinals nearly let a 19-point lead escape them. They led the entire game until the Seahawks took a 29-25 lead in the fourth quarter. However, two consecutive Cardinals touchdowns would seal the victory.
Cardinals QB Carson Palmer passed for 362 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception in the win. It is their seventh win of the season.
Next Up
Coming off of their bye week, the 49ers will face the Seahawks in Seattle. The Rams will travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens while the Cardinals will host the Cincinnati Bengals.
